Do you have any photos of the big helium balloons that were above each of the venues, to help people parking far away, know which direction to walk?

I worked on them, and the guy on our team who took all the pictures, lost them! It would be SO wonderful to have even a not-so-great picture of one of those balloons up in the sky.

They were white balloons with broken stripes painted in the 1984 LA Olympic colors, wrapping horizontally around them. They were about 12 feet in diameter. Not special enough for anyone to publish a picture, but very special to me!Shulamithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11931222368429231156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2067993726290537220.post-30774934480530668762013-01-06T16:25:21.120-08:002013-01-06T16:25:21.120-08:00I really like your blog and have one with similar ...I really like your blog and have one with similar information. They started looking really ratty after just a few weeks after the Games - and came down.

Great two weeks for Los Angeles.

It would be wonderful to have them back for a three-peat.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2067993726290537220.post-51782521956019685392012-07-29T08:06:09.208-07:002012-07-29T08:06:09.208-07:00the 1980'/s were great!!the 1980'/s were great!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2067993726290537220.post-19832068705073680222012-07-28T21:13:46.224-07:002012-07-28T21:13:46.224-07:00GOOD collection of LA84 photos.
